Prenatal and postnatal yoga

Prenatal yoga or pregnancy yoga is the form of yoga specially for the pregnant ladies during the whole journey of pregnancy. It can be a great way to prepare for healthy childbirth. Prenatal yoga is a multifaceted approach to exercise that encourages stretching, mental centering and focused breathing. Research suggests that prenatal yoga is safe and can have many benefits for pregnant women and their babies. It is required to do because it helps the mother also helps to keep the body of both mother and baby fit.

Prenatal yoga can:

  • Improve sleep
  • Reduce stress and anxiety
  • Increase the strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth
  • Decrease lower back pain, nausea, carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms, headaches and shortness of breath

Postnatal Yoga– Postnatal yoga is a form of yoga which helps the new mother to tone their body and regain their figure and also helps to make a special bond with the child. It also helps in preventing from post pregnancy depression which is seen very commonly these days.
